Winnie Truong is a Toronto based artist working in pencil crayons on paper to produce large scale detailed portraits that challenge our ideas of beauty and discomfort. Winnie's work finds great inspiration from the sci-fi tales of John Wyndham, H.G. Wells, as well as the "monster of the week" plot-lines of the X-files.
